Gelbach in logit: a covariate decomposition for the logit model applied to the minimum wage’s heterogeneous impact (supervised by Pedro Raposo). [A note on this thesis, Thesis, Slides, R package.]

A note on this thesis. The thesis adapts Gelbach’s (2016) covariate decomposition to the logit model, taking the usual interpretation of that decomposition as given. I have since discovered that the original decomposition does not measure what it is commonly thought to measure, so the interpretation of the decomposition results in the thesis does not hold. My current research with Philipp Ketz and Blaise Melly addresses this problem.
